Beverly Blackstone is a native Texan. She was born in Harlingen, and has lived in Houston since 1973. With a BBA degree in Management, her interest has always been in the "people" business. She spent many years helping people to work more effectively, and recognized a desire to help those who suffer mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The following became a very personal call to her.

The Story of the Water's Edge

In 2001, after Texas made it possible to earn counseling credentials in a faith-based venue, Beverly started her formal counseling training at the Therapon Institute.

She became Licensed as a Board Certified Belief Therapist, and was ordained for ministry by the Therapon Institute. She left a career in law firm administration and formed Water’s Edge Ministries. It has been a continuous adventure as Beverly enjoys doing what she loves – touching lives and helping people heal and grow.
